National League side, Wrexham have extended their kit sponsor and stadium naming right with Macron for another year.

The club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been collaborating with the Italian-based sportswear company since 2016 and their latest deal supposedly run out this year. However, both parties agreed to extend their collaboration for another 12 months.

Despite being a lower-league side in England, Wrexham have been getting plenty of attention and affection especially after Reynolds and McElhenney bought the club. Aside from maintaining the partnership as a kit sponsor, Macron also extend the naming rights for the club’s stadium also for another season.

The Italian Sportswear have also sponsored Wrexham’s ground naming right since 2021 as the Mold Road Stand is currently called the Macron Stand for at least until the end of the 2023/24 season. Their partnership has certainly been positive for both parties, especially with the increase in popularity that Wrexham are getting recently.

Commenting about the extension, The Robins’ CEO, Fleur Robinson admits that they are happy to continue their partnership with Macron while adding that the club already anticipating next season’s jerseys.

“We enjoy a good working relationship with Macron, and look forward to this continuing.

We are excited about our new kits for the 2023/24 season, and we look forward to revealing the red home shirt, white away shirt, and black alternative shirt in due course,” Robinson explained.

Meanwhile, Macron's Mike Davis also added, "We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with Wrexham AFC. We would like to wish all at the Football Club the best of luck for the months ahead.”

Wrexham To Also Extend Partnership With TikTok?

Aside from their deal with Macron, Wrexham could potentially extend their current shirt deal with TikTok which will expire at the end of this current season. The Robbins’ signed a two-year deal with the major social media company back in 2021, so a renewal could also happen anytime soon.

However, there’s been no official confirmation made by either party regarding a potential new kit-sponsor deal beyond 2023. Nevertheless, with the positive trend that Wrexham's are having, TikTok might be eager to continue their partnership beyond this year.
