All-New La Liga Logo Released

For the 2023-2024 season, Spanish La Liga (officially LaLiga) undergo a complete rebrand. Yesterday, the new visual identity for LaLiga was revealed, confirming the leak by Footy Headlines.

La Liga will have a new title partnership with EA SPORTS from the 2023-2024 season. La Liga will be known as "LaLiga EA Sports FC" from 2023 as part of this partnership. We can not leak the new LaLiga logo x EA Sports logo yet.

LaLiga 2023-2024 Logo

The new LaLiga logo ditches the iconic color wheel that has been there for 30 years. Instead, the new logo will feature a coral-red color. The coral color (officially Pantone Red 032C) is symbolizing the passion, energy, and excitement of football.

The color wheel is replaced by a modern yet cryptic "ll" symbol, which is not easy to recognize as LaLiga at first glance.

The new branding strategy of LaLiga has the slogan "The Power of our Fútbol." The new slogan represents the potential of fans, clubs, sponsors, and all other stakeholders. LALIGA aims to inspire people through the positive values of their sport.

Additionally, the league have also slightly updated their official name. LaLiga now become LALIGA, written as a single word in capital letters.

Ángel Fernández, head of global brand & strategy at LALIGA, said: “Over the past 10 years we have taken on the responsibility to inspire people through the positive values of our sport, something we consistently demonstrate through our clubs, our fans and our entire ecosystem of competitions and related activities. The new brand is a symbol of this change, the representation of “THE POWER OF OUR FÚTBOL,” with which we want to reaffirm the pride of being part of a competition that inspires us all and helps us to grow as people and as a society.”

La Liga 23-24 Kit Typeface

Aside from the new logo, the rebrand will also introduce a new league-wide kit font. The kit font uses the same typeface as the LaLiga logo.

All-New LaLiga Sleeve Badge

The LaLiga 2023 sleeve badge features the stylized ll symbol and accompanying text, which are situated within a white box bordered by red. The exact look of the new LaLiga sleeve badge is not known yet.
