No More Betting Sponsor: Mainz Sign New Sleeve Sponsor Deal
Bundesliga side Mainz 05 recently announced the arrival of a new sleeve sponsor for the 2023-24 season. Previously, Mainz had a Chinese betting sponsor, which funnily enough was banned in Germany due to not having the necessary license.
iDM Replace Shady Betting Sponsor
Heavily criticised not only for their disruptive green color, fb88.com was not welcomed by Mainz fans due to their nature as a betting company.
Furthermore, the company are rooted in Asia, so fb88.com is not exactly a local partner from the region. In contrast, iDM is at least from Tirol, Austria.
The company, which makes heat pumps, have signed a four-year agreement with the 05ers. They will appear not only in the Bundesliga, but also in the DFB-Pokal and on the U23 sleeves.
