Minimal Update: Champions League 24-25 Kit Sleeve Badge Released

Update: Ahead of the 23-24 Champions League final, we imagined how next season's star ball badge would look for Real Madrid if they win its 15th Champions League title. BVB won't get a number if the club wins the Champions League - the badge of honor is only given to teams with more than 5 titles (or three in a row).

Update: UEFA will keep the number of honor for the 2024-2025 Champions League star ball badge. This can be seen on official images of four different 24-25 Champions League Star Ball badges, already available via specialist Malaysian football store Protech Kit Zone.

Celtic has also released its new home kit for the 2024-2025 season today, including the option to add the official 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League badge for 9 Euro.

For the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League season, we will see a slightly updated star ball patch. Big thanks to @ArsenalShirt and @Kloppenheimer.

New Champions League Badge for 2024-25 Season: A Minimalist Update

The UEFA Champions League 24-25 sleeve badge is the same as before, just with a black border. This minimalist update enhances the contrast and visibility of the patch, making it stand out even more on players' jerseys.

The Champions League sleeve badge is probably the most iconic badge in world football. It features stars arranged in a circular pattern, representing the unity and competitive spirit of the Champions League.

It remains to be seen if UEFA will also update the Badge of Honor worn by teams that won several Champions League titles, like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Ajax. We hope that UEFA will ditch it, as the number over the star ball destroys the clean look.

The badge will be at least used from 2014 until 2027, probably

We would also hope for a special silver badge for the reigning champions.

UEFA will probably also update the visual identity of the Champions League for the new three-year cycle (2024-2027), at least slightly. The Champions League logo remains the same, unlike those of the UEFA Europa League and Conference League.
