Avery Dennison, the official names, numbers, and sleeve badge supplier for the Premier League, has officially announced the re-release of the iconic league-wide kit font used from 2007 to 2017. This marks the first time an official retro font has been made available by the league's partner, responding to huge demand from fans and clubs.

Premier League 2007-2017 Kit Font

The 2007-2017 EPL kit font is one of the most recognizable in football history, synonymous with a golden era for the Premier League. It was worn by a host of legendary players, including Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Sergio Agüero, Gareth Bale, and many more.

Until now, fans wanting to create authentic retro shirts had to rely on unofficial imitations. As the Premier League’s trusted provider since 2019, Avery Dennison is now bringing back the iconic typography, made to the exact specifications used during its original run to ensure perfect accuracy.

Football nostalgia is stronger than ever. Fans want to connect with their favorite team and era in a way that feels genuine,” says Steve Mason, Vice President at Avery Dennison. “For years, we’ve seen unofficial versions of these fonts in circulation, but now clubs, retailers, and fans can access the real thing, produced to the same high standards as today’s Premier League embellishments.”

The official retro names and numbers are available now for clubs and retailers.
