You thought you had seen everything when it comes to football kits? Well, yesterday, we came across a shirt we didn't know existed.
Real Madrid 2000 Brazil Prototype Kits
This is the Adidas Real Madrid CF Brazil prototype football shirt from 2000.
The Adidas Real Madrid prototype kit is showing the club in Brazil-inspired colors. Made by Adidas, the shirt came in two versions - one yellow with green trim and one green with yellow accents.
Both designs use the same Adidas template actually used by Madrid (but in different colors), complete with the Teka sponsor and Real Madrid crest.
The kit never made it to the stores or even the pitch, and the reason it was shelved remains unknown, but it would have been one of the most striking in the club’s history.
We do not know how many of the Brazil Madrid prototype jerseys exist, but there are likely not more than a handful. Therefore, it is logical that the price tag is high - you can get the shirt for 350 GBP via Cult Kits. If that's too expensive for you, you're not alone. But just looking at it made us happy.
