West Ham United to Announce New Balance Kit Deal + Talks with ‘Amazing Thailand’ for Kit Sponsor
- New Kit Manufacturer: West Ham United will switch to New Balance as their kit manufacturer on a five-year deal, ending their partnership with Umbro after this season.
- Front-of-Shirt Sponsor Change: Due to a Premier League ban on gambling sponsors, Boyle Sports will become the sleeve sponsor, and West Ham is in talks with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to feature 'Amazing Thailand' on the front of the shirts.
- Negotiations Confirmed: TAT's deputy governor confirmed negotiations with West Ham, even sharing concept images, and TAT officials have held talks at the London Stadium.
West Ham United is gearing up for a massive commercial transformation this summer, with the club poised to unveil a brand-new kit manufacturer and a fresh front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2026-27 season.
A New Era with New Balance for West Ham United
After a long-running partnership, this season’s 130-year anniversary kit will be West Ham's last with Umbro until at least 2031. Starting this summer, the Irons will switch to leading US sportswear brand New Balance on a five-year deal.
The club held talks with a variety of top manufacturers, including Nike, Adidas, Puma, and Macron. Castore reportedly pushed hard for the contract after losing Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Wolves, but West Ham ultimately chose New Balance. The Boston-based brand already has a strong local footprint with a major store in Westfield Stratford, situated right next to the London Stadium.
‘Amazing Thailand’ to Become West Ham United Main Kit Sponsor?
Coinciding with the new kits is a major change to the front of the shirt. In 2024, Premier League clubs voluntarily agreed to ban gambling companies as front-of-shirt sponsors starting from the 2026-27 campaign. As a result, Boyle Sports - who signed a one-year deal last summer to replace Betway - will reportedly transition to becoming West Ham’s sleeve sponsor.
Stepping into the main sponsor role could be a popular holiday destination. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is in discussions with the club to have their “Amazing Thailand” branding emblazoned across the new kits.
Nithee Seeprae, TAT’s deputy governor for marketing communications, confirmed the negotiations on social media, even sharing concept images of West Ham shirts featuring the "Amazing Thailand" logo. Insider Sean Whetstone reported that TAT officials recently held talks at the London Stadium with Nathan Thompson, West Ham’s executive director for commercial, marketing, digital, and content, alongside an unnamed board member.
