Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar has officially unveiled its new third kit for the 2026-27 season. Designed in collaboration with technical partner Nike, the release arrives under the campaign banner "The shirt for every surface," celebrating adaptability both on the football pitch and in the streets.
AZ Alkmaar 26-27 Third Kit
This is the new Nike AZ Alkmaar third shirt for 2026-27.
The Nike AZ Alkmaar 26-27 third football shirt is built around a clean black base, accented by bright red details. A sharp red V-neck collar is matched with thick red sleeve cuffs and vertical side stripes running down the flanks.
White is utilized for the Nike Swoosh and the AFAS Software sponsor logo on the chest, creating a bold, high-contrast aesthetic that fits right in with AZ's traditional colors.
AZ opted to shoot the launch campaign in a raw industrial warehouse rather than inside a football stadium. The concept ties back directly to the club's renowned youth academy philosophy, emphasizing that AZ players do not develop on a single pitch—they grow by playing on grass, artificial turf, and concrete street pitches alike, mastering every playing surface.
The club highlighted supporters taking the shirt anywhere from London to Lisbon and into Amsterdam for their upcoming Eredivisie away fixture against Ajax at the Johan Cruijff Arena, reinforcing the motto: "Waar de ondergrond verandert, blijft de identiteit hetzelfde. Waar we ook spelen, Van Alkmaar de Victorie."
