— Juan Mata García (@juanmata8) February 20, 2015It's Juan Mata's second season wearing Adidas boots, after he joined the Three Stripes in February 2013. Since then, Juan Mata had been wearing the Adidas Predator Boots, made for ball control and comfort.
Before he joined Adidas, Juan Mata wore Nike Mercurial Vapor Boots. Some months ago, Juan Mata stated in an SB interview about the new Adidas Predator Instinct:
"As an offensive player my mission is to assist and score goals and they’re very good boots for that. Previously I’ve worn lighter boots but I think these are perfect for me because they allow me to feel the touch of the ball better than any other boot and for my game it’s very important to have good control of the ball."
While the Adidas Predator Instinct Boot weighs in at 278g (9.8 oz), the Adidas F50 Adizero Leather Cleat weighs just 204g (7.2 oz). Will Juan Mata return to the starting xi and lightweight boots in tomorrow's match against Swansea?
