Is the revolutionary Adidas Primeknit 2.0 2015 Football Boot a rare collector's item? Not really. Even though the cutting-edge boot is part of the new Adidas 'Limited Collection' Soccer Cleats Pack, the new Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Boot won't become a lucrative business for resellers on eBay.
Limited to 10,000 pairs globally, the new Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Boot might be the least limited 'limited edition' boot release in awhile.
But what are the reasons for Adidas to label the Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Cleats as limited edition?

Let's start with a bit of history. In 2002, Nike patented the revolutionary Flyknit technology. Flyknit is an one-piece yarn upper that revolutionized the design of shoes forever offering a sock-like fit. Additionally, Flyknit also cuts labor costs and production time compared to traditional shoes, which are comprised from various elements.
In 2012, Adidas launched the first knitted Adidas Boots ever. The Adidas Primeknit running show was released with a limited run of 2,012 pairs at the London Olympics in July 2012.
Nike, who launched the Nike Flyknit in February 2012, filed an injunction against Adidas to stop promoting and selling the Adidas Primeknit shoe, which would be a copy of the Nike Flyknit. Even though a court in Nuremberg set the injunction aside, Adidas is still not allowed to launch a regular Primeknit release - and has only launched limited edition runs of Primeknit Boots yet.
The first Adidas Primeknit Football Boot (released in February 2014) was limited to 150 pairs globally, while the second colorway of the Adidas Primeknit Cleat was limited to 500 pairs globally. Meanwhile, Nike launched the knitted Nike Magista Obra and Nike Mercurial Superfly for the 2014 World Cup - and has likely sold million pairs of the boots since then.
The Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Boot is the next product of the Adidas Limited Collection Boots Pack, albeit Adidas are making 10,000 pairs of the boot, which retails at 220 GBP (300 Euro, 300 USD). The Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Limited Edition Boot will definitely not sell out within a few days.

The fact that Adidas is able to produce 10,000 pairs of the Adidas Primeknit 2.0 Boots shows that Adidas would be prepared to release a knitted boot in Summer 2015. No More Grand Sport: 2S Sport Chiangrai United 26-27 Home Kit Released
Thai League 1 side Singha Chiangrai United have officially unveiled their new 2026-27 home kit, made by domestic sportswear brand 2S Sport. The partnership sees 2S Sport replace Grand Sport as the club's official kit partner.
The 2S Sport Chiangrai United 2026-27 home shirt features the club's signature bright orange base with thin black and yellow horizontal pinstripes across the front and back. A subtle geometric diamond pattern adds texture, while a black polo collar, side panels and sleeve cuffs provide contrast. “CRUTD” is printed on the back of the collar.
The shirt is completed by the iconic Singha lion silhouette and Singha Lemon Soda wordmark in black on the centre chest, alongside the 2S Sport logo and Chiangrai United crest.

No More Zeus: Eye Sports Crotone 26-27 Away Kit Released
Italian Serie C side Crotone have officialy introduced their new away kit, made by new supplier Eye Sport, who replaced Zeus after 16 years.
The new design uses a familiar approach with white base combined with blue and red side panels. On the front of the shirt lies a graphic of 8 thin brush strokes down the hips, giving the jersey more details aside from the simple look.

FC Aarau 26-27 Third Kit Released
FC Aarau and kit supplier Craft have officially unveiled the club's new third kit for the 2026-27 Swiss Challenge League campaign, rounding out their wardrobe following the launch of the home and away jerseys earlier in the summer.
The Craft FC Aarau 26-27 third shirt introduces an eye-catching graphic look, utilizing a deep navy base accented by a vibrant, glowing gradient in shades of pink, red, and purple across the front. The shirt features a smart polo-style collar with the local motto "DAS ESCH AARAU" printed inside the neckline.
All club and sponsor detailing is finished in clean monochrome white, including a silicone-style FC Aarau eagle crest and logos for AEW and Aargauische Kantonalbank. Navy shorts and matching socks complete the kit.

Thai League 2 club Chanthaburi FC has officially unveiled its new away kit for the 2026-27 season, once again manufactured by local brand M7.
The M7 Chanthaburi FC 26-27 away shirt introduces an elegant look, combining a clean white base with refined gold accents. The design features a classic polo collar complete with gold and white striped detailing, matching the trim on the sleeve cuffs. All club and sponsor logos, including the M7 chest branding and the club's rabbit crest, are rendered in a monochromatic gold finish.
Complementing the recently unveiled home shirt, the new away uniform will be worn by the Wild Rabbits throughout their upcoming campaign in Thailand's second division.

Thai League 2 club Songkhla FC has officially unveiled its new away and third kits for the 26-27 season, crafted by new technical supplier EGO Sport. The domestic sportswear brand takes over kit manufacturing duties from EightyEight Sport, marking the beginning of a fresh era for the club.
The Songkhla FC 26-27 away jersey features a clean white base paired with asymmetrical sleeves in black and red. A classic polo collar is detailed with a distinctive geometric cross pattern, while the fabric of the body is enriched with a subtle, tonal traditional motif. Black and red side panels frame the torso, complementing the club's iconic mermaid crest on the chest.

Union Foot de Touraine 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released
French Championnat National 1 side Union Foot de Touraine has officially unveiled its new home and away shirts for the 26-27 campaign, manufactured by Italian brand Macron.
The Union Foot de Touraine 26-27 home kit is predominantly white, centered around a sharp chevron scapulaire in yellow and royal blue across the chest. Matching blue and yellow accents line the crew-neck collar and sleeve cuffs to round off the clean aesthetic.
For the away jersey, Macron delivers a royal blue look accented by a bold horizontal chest band split in yellow and white, complete with subtle tonal diagonal striping along the lower front. Both kits feature the club crest, Macron Hero logos, official National 1 sleeve patches, and dual chest sponsorship from Enerlis and McDonald's.
