Boot Watch | First Footy Headlines Boot Spotting

Welcome to our first-ever boot spotting. While have previously only covered the boot spots as they happened, we've now decided to round up all the latest and breaking boot spottings of the past week as well as including some unique boot choices which didn't make it on the website to give you an compressive overview of what happened in the boot world in the past seven days. And whereas other boot spottings are not always as independent as they should be, it's our aim to offer you all boot spots without any restrictions in our Boot Watch. But now let's get straight into the first edition of our 'Boot Watch'.

Jem Karacan | Adidas Predator Accelerator 1998 Remake

Galatasaray midfielder Jem Karacan caught the eyes of our readers this Champions League Matchday as he laced up in the classy Adidas Predator Accelerator 1998 Remake Edition. However, he already debuted the remakes of the iconic boots in Galatasaray's league match against Eskisehirspor in late October 2015. But not many noticed it back then.

Adidas Players Train Unreleased Adidas X and Ace

Various players sponsored by the Three Stripes already laced up in the upcoming Adidas Ace and Adidas X Colorways this week. And while no high-profile player actually debuted them this weekend, we'll already see them as soon as next week as Adidas will launch both bold colorways on Monday or Tuesday.

Nike Liquid Chrome Pack On-Pitch Debut

Designed to make a bold statement under the floodlights of the biggest European stadiums, the Nike Liquid Chrome Hypervenom, Magista and Mercurial Boots finally made their on-pitch debut this weekend after the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend Boots of the pack was already debuted last weekend.

Seydou Keita | Adidas Messi 15.1 and Adidas 11pro Battle Pack

Former FC Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita returned to the Camp Nou wearing two unique boots - the white Adidas Messi 15.1 Boots and the World Cup edition of the meanwhile discontinued Adidas 11pro Boots.

David Silva | Next-Gen Adidas Ace Primeknit Debut

Manchester City's midfielder David Silva provided the biggest surprise this weekend as he laced up in a blackout version of the next-gen Adidas Ace Primeknit Boots in the Premier League clash against Southampton. And while Adidas will not launch the first colorway for the next-gen silo before January 2016, it remains a secret if he got the OK from the Three Stripes to wear them in an official match.

Next-Gen Adidas Ace Boots Spotted Across European Training Pitches

While David Silva already debuted the next-gen Adidas Ace Boots in an actual match, various players such as Real Madrid's James Rodríguez and Arsenal's Debuchy were spotted wearing blackout versions of the second-gen Adidas Ace Boots in training sessions throughout the week.

Neymar | Camouflaged Nike Hypervenom

While FC Barcelona's superstar still laced up in the old Hyper Grape colorway of the Nike Hypervenom Boots in the first half against Real Sociedad this weekend, he switched to his stunning but camouflaged Bronze Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots for the second half of the match. And he even managed to score with both boots as Barcelona won 4-0 against the Basque club.

Kevin-Prince Boateng | Nike Tiempo Legends Premier Remake

Kevin-Prince Boateng, who is currently training with AC Milan even though he is still under contract with Schalke 04, became the first superstar to lace up in the classy Black, White and Electric Green Nike Premier Boots in the first-ever edition of the San Nicola Trophy (that's a new trophy that is decided in two mini matches consisting of 45 minutes).

Paul Pogba (Part 1) | Laceless Adidas Ace PureControl

While Paul Pogba shall be lacing up in unique Nike Magista Obra Boots the next day, the France international already caused big waves in the boot world as he wore a blackout version of the first laceless Adidas Boots creating rumors that he could join the Three Stripes as early as 2016.

Paul Pogba (Part 2) | Nike Magista Obra 'France Edition'

It was definitely the most noticed boot spot of the past week. Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, who is famous for his one-of-a-kind boots choices, payed tribute to the victims of the Paris Attacks wearing a unique blue, white and red version of the Nike Magista Obra Boots resembling the look of the French flag.

Martín Caceres | Blackout Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly

Juventus' Cáceres became the second player to give us a look at the much-awaited next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots after Cristiano Ronaldo already trained in a blackout version of the fifth generation of Nike's cutting-edge speed boot almost two months ago.

Juan Manuel Iturbe | Custom Nike Mercurial Superfly

AS Roma's Iturbe debuted his custom red and black Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots in the Champions League clash against FC Barcelona after he was already spotted wearing the one-of-a-kind boots ahead of Roma's last league match.

Assou-Ekotto | Adidas Predator Adipower Black / Orange

Even though Assou-Ekotto already debuted the black and orange Adidas Predator Adipower Boots not this but last weekend, we have manages to grab a detailed image of his boots in the meantime and therefore decided to give him a well-deserved place in our first-ever Boot Watch.

Have we missed any interesting boot choices? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for the second edition of our Boot Watch. Coming as soon as next week (And likely on Sunday evening, if nothing really unforeseen happens in the boot world).

Queen of the South 26-27 Third Kit Released - Designed by Local School Pupil

Scottish League One club Queen of the South has officially launched its new 26-27 third kit, manufactured by Macron. What makes the release particularly unique is that it was designed by Rex, a pupil from Dalbeattie Primary School, who won a club competition that saw an impressive 1,883 entries submitted from 27 local primary schools.

The Macron Queen of the South 2026-27 third jersey introduces an eye-catching look based on bold diagonal stripes alternating between pink, black, and purple. The sleeves are dominated by bright pink with black cuffs, matched by a clean black V-neck collar. White detailing finishes the shirt, including the Macron Hero emblem, local sponsor Gavin Edgar Joinery on the chest, and a recolored monochrome club crest.

Completing the Queen of the South 26-27 third strip are black shorts and socks. The full kit is available now through the club's official online store and physical club shop.

Kifisia FC 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released

Greek Super League club Kifisia FC and German kit maker Erima have officially revealed the team's new home and away kits for the 26-27 campaign. Both designs introduce the branding of new front-of-shirt sponsor Tutu Deals.

The Erima Kifisia 26-27 home jersey features a timeless navy blue base covered with subtle white vertical pinstripes extending across the front and sleeves. A sharp white V-neck collar matches the clean white Erima chest branding, while the club's signature plane tree leaf crest sits proudly on the left breast.

The 26-27 away kit opts for a clean white base adorned with an intricate, tonal root-inspired graphic pattern across the body. Navy and gold trim decorates both the polo collar and the sleeve cuffs, with elegant gold detailing applied to the club crest and manufacturer logo to round off the look.

AC Bellinzona 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released

Italian brand Acerbis and Swiss side AC Bellinzona have officially unveiled the club's new home and away kits for the 26-27 season. The Ticino outfit, competing in the Swiss Promotion League, receive a coordinated pair of shirts defined by a bold cross design across the front.

The AC Bellinzona 26-27 home shirt arrives in the club's signature deep granata, highlighted by a prominent white cross spanning across the entire front of the jersey. Reversing the colorway, the 26-27 away jersey uses a clean white base complemented by the same large cross graphic in dark red.

Both jerseys feature a symmetrical, centered layout. The Acerbis wordmark and Bellinzona's diamond-shaped badge sit vertically above each other on the upper chest, while the sponsor emblem is aligned right in the center of the cross.

Ederson Continues Cutting Sleeves at Fenerbahçe

Heading into his second season in the Süper Lig, the 33-year-old goalkeeper was once again spotted taking the pitch in a cut-sleeve jersey. Simply because Fenerbahçe does not offer a short-sleeve kit option from Adidas.

At his previous clubs like Rio Ave, Benfica, and Manchester City, Ederson always had short-sleeve versions to him. His time at Fenerbahçe marks one of the rare instances in his professional career where Ederson has worn long sleeves on the pitch.

Special thanks to What The Kit for the spot and the collage.

Bordeaux 26-27 Away Kit Released

Following the launch of their home strip, Girondins de Bordeaux and Hummel have officially unveiled the club's new away kit for the 26-27 season. Amidst severe off-pitch turmoil and administrative relegation to the amateur leagues, the French club has looked to the most celebrated period in its history for design inspiration, presenting a shirt that pays tribute to the famous 1986-87 double-winning side.

The Hummel Bordeaux 26-27 away jersey is predominantly white, framed by dark navy panels across the shoulders and sleeves that house the Danish brand's signature chevrons. A classic white polo collar features discreet red trim along the edges, which is echoed on the sleeve cuffs. Completing the retro aesthetic, the left chest bears the club's circular 1980s crest rather than the modern badge, delivering an unmistakable nod to the golden era.

Presented without a main shirt sponsor, the clean retro shirt maintains a bespoke feel despite the team competing outside the professional ranks in Régional 1. Hummel continues to stand by the club under its multi-year partnership, with the kit priced at €89.95.
