Dortmund Midfielder Debuts Unreleased Adidas X Boots

Dortmund midfielder Moritz Leitner jumped the gun and debuted a pair of Adidas X 15.1 boots which are not expected to hit the shelves before the end of this month. Thanks to Kay Sahm who supplied the spot.

Leitner Shows Off Unreleased Solar Gold Adidas X 15.1

Moritz Leitner wore the unreleased Adidas X cleats in his club's friendly match against Sparta Praha on January 19, giving us the first on-pitch impressions before the official launch.

Dubbed "Solar Gold / Shock Pink / Core Black", the unique Adidas X 15.1 cleats worn by Leitner combine a clean yellow upper with black accents for the sockliner and sole plate, while the silo's iconic X-cage stands out with a purple-to-black fade.

Leitner opted for the Primeknit variant of the boot which will also be launched with synthetic and leather uppers. The release will also mark the first time Adidas will make the X 15.1 available with a sole plate dedicated solely to artificial-grass surfaces.
