Mata Debuts Black Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl
Although it's already available to buy online, Adidas has not officially released the second Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl paint job yet. It combines an understated black base with striking Solar Green Adidas stripes and a pink pull tab at the front of the heightened collar.
After Lyon's Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa trained in the interesting Adidas soccer cleats in training this week, Juan Mata became the first player to debut the color, further confirming its relatively big on-pitch presence. More players, including Mats Hummels, Javi Martínez and Riccardo Montolivo were also spotted wearing the Primeknit or standard 16.1 variants of the "Black / Shock Pink / Solar Green" Adidas Ace 16 colorway.
