Argentina and FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi debuted the stunning but second-tier silver Adidas Messi 16.1 Boots in yesterday's friendly against Honduras after he laced up in the first-gen Adidas Messi 15.1 Boots in FC Barcelona's Copa del Rey final against Atletico last week.

Even though the Argentina superstar has been spotted wearing a blackout version of the Adidas Messi PureAgility boots in various FC Barcelona training sessions, the Argentinian superstar finally opted for the much more traditional Adidas Messi 16.1 Boots in yesterday's friendly.
Messi wore a slightly modified version of the boots that were exclusively designed for him (custom laces - all other parts are the same). However, as Messi was subbed off with a back injury, it is not known yet if he will again wear the boots soon.
