City Islanders 2016 R2D2 Star Wars Kit Released

United Soccer League club Harrisburg City Islanders have revealed a unique Star Wars inspired soccer jersey for the match against Bethlehem Steel on August 30.

This is City Islanders' special shirt that was worn three days ago.

Featuring R2D2 on the front, the special City Islanders Star Wars soccer jersey was released as part of the Star Wars Night of the club. It comes with a all-over R2D2 graphic print that covers the entire front, back as well as the sleeves of the jersey to make an extraordinary statement on the pitch.

However, whereas the Force wasn't with City Islanders as they just drew 1-1 at home to Bethlehem Steel, the kit will nevertheless pay off as all profits from the auction of the one-off jersey will go to The American Cancer Society.
