Stolen From Adidas - In-House Liverpool 2019 Retro Top Released
This week, we reported that Liverpool released a stylish new retro kit collection inspired by some of the club's most iconic and successful kits. Now one of our followers made us aware that Liverpool is selling a jacket that is obviously stealing one of Adidas' designs of the 1990s.
Liverpool FC Candy Retro Sweat Top
Very obviously featuring the design of the 1990 Adidas Liverpool retro tracksuit, the new Liverpool FC product taking the design is dubbed 'LFC Candy Retro Sweat Top'. It comes the same colors as the original jacket, and also has the (possibly trademark) Three Stripes graphic design on the front.
On the left chest is the Liverpool logo of that time, while the wight chest comes without any manufactures' branding.
In fact, Adidas already reissued the tracksuit in 2006 as part of the Adidas Originals collection. The were Liverpool's kit maker until the end of the 2011-2012 season.
