Mönchengladbach's 19-20 away jersey looks back at the club's most successful period in the 1970s, during which Gladbach won all of its five Bundesliga titles, two UEFA Cups, and one German cup.
Specifically, it's said to be drawing inspiration from the 1977-78 away kit, which featured the same colors in a classic design typical of that era. A simple crew neck collar rounds off the smart look of Gladbach 2019-2020 away kit. 'Die Folen' (The Foals) is printed below the neck of the shirt.
