Official: Emile Smith-Rowe Joins Adidas
Update: Emile Smith-Rowe has been officially announced as an Adidas player, having been wearing the X Speedflow boot for a number of weeks now.
Smith-Rowe Signs with Adidas
The deal was finally announced with a video posted by Adidas featuring Arsenal legend Ray Parlour.
Interestingly, Smith-Rowe has been given his own logo by the German brand, a stylised form of his initials. He joins the likes of Messi, Mo Salah and Paul Pogba, which could indicate that Adidas consider him in their top tier of players.

Smith-Rowe Spotted in Adidas Boots
The Arsenal star appeared in a video (which you can see below from the 5:40 mark) with Youtuber Chunkz and took part in a football drill while wearing the red white and blue Adidas X Speedflow+.
This is a change for him, as last season he wore the regular Nike Phantom VNM before switching to a blacked out version since the start of this season, suggesting that he had been without a boot contract.
This latest sighting is likely an indicator that he is set to join Adidas, if he has not already done so. Smith-Rowe also posted photos from the shoot to his Instagram account, with the boots clearly visible, possibly the most sure-fire sign that a deal is imminent.
It would be a logical move from Adidas signing the young Arsenal number 10, meaning he’d be fully kitted out in the Three Stripes when playing for his club, as well as featuring prominently in any kit or collection launches - something we have seen a lot of since the Adidas-Arsenal partnership began.

Outstanding Belgium 2026 World Cup Lineup Graphics
The Belgium national team has caught the attention of football fans during the 2026 World Cup not just for their performances on the pitch, but for their highly creative lineup graphics. Throughout the tournament, the official Belgian Red Devils social media accounts have been sharing unique, retro-themed starting XI announcements that stand out from the standard templates used by most other national teams. Big thanks to @TheShirtUnion.
The standout design from Belgium's 2026 World Cup campaign is a cassette tape motif, which was used for their matches against New Zealand, Egypt, and Senegal. Tied to their sponsorship with PwC, the graphics feature different cassette tape designs for each player, accompanied by captions like "Now playing: our starting XI". Other creative themes have included movie cast lists and tactical roadmaps, earning widespread praise from fans for being fresh and unique.
With national team social media graphics often becoming repetitive during major tournaments, Belgium's approach offers a welcome change. The attention to detail and retro aesthetic of the cassette tapes have made these lineup announcements highly anticipated before each match, generating significant engagement and setting a high standard for tournament graphics.
