Adidas Returns as Bundesliga Ball Supplier
The current deal between the Bundesliga and Derbystar runs until the end of the 2025-26 season. The two will end their eight-year partnership at the end of the 25-26 season.
Adidas will replace Derbystar as the ball supplier for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 from the 2026-27 season, with an initial four-year deal running until the end of the 2029-30 season.
DFL Managing Director Steffen Merkel said: "For Europe's highest-scoring top league, the selection of the right official match ball is of particular importance. Adidas came up with a proposal that convinced the DFL and its 36 clubs in every respect. We are delighted about this return and the early planning certainty that comes with this cooperation. Adidas is a company with deep roots in Germany and a strong global presence. We want to leverage this together from the season after next."
The partnership marks a comeback for Adidas: From 2010/11 to 2018/19, the official match ball of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga will be supplied by the brand with the three stripes.

Nike and Kids of Immigrants Goalkeeper Jersey + Total 90 Shoes Released
Nike and streetwear label Kids of Immigrants have officially unveiled a comprehensive collaborative capsule collection. This wider release expands significantly upon the retro football aesthetic, offering a full range of apparel, accessories, and highly unique modified footwear.
The undeniable centerpiece of the expanded collection is the introduction of two bespoke slip-on mules, which draw heavy inspiration from the iconic Nike Total 90 football boot. The mules arrive in two distinct colorways: a muted beige and olive green iteration featuring a speckled sole, alongside a darker, glossy black and rich brown patent leather version. Both pairs are unified by a striking red and yellow outlined Swoosh on the midfoot and tongue, matching the vibrant accents found on the collection's primary jersey.
Rounding out the collaborative effort is a selection of matching apparel and accessories designed to complete the capsule. The standout piece of these other items is a special 1990s keeper kit.

However, it turned into a disappointing debut as they lost 0-2 to Fiorentina, putting their chances of qualifying for the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League at serious risk.
