Schalke 04 have officially unveiled a special-edition shirt for the 2025-26 season, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the city of Gelsenkirchen. The release pays tribute to the club’s deep-rooted connection with its hometown, blending historical elements with contemporary design in a striking, meaningful way.

This is the new Adidas Schalke 04 150 Years of Gelsenkirchen jersey for 2025-26.
The Adidas S04 2025-26 150 Years of Gelsenkirchen shirt is inspired by the traditional dark green associated with Gelsenkirchen and features a distinctive long-sleeve design. It is based on the Custom Squadra 25 template from Adidas Locker Room.
The Adidas Schalke 04 2025-2026 150 Years of Gelsenkirchen jersey is defined by an intricate all-over pattern derived from the symbols of the city’s coat of arms, reinterpreted as a modern graphic motif across the fabric. This subtle yet rich detailing reinforces the heritage behind the jersey.
On the chest, the connection between club and city is expressed clearly: beneath the Schalke crest sits the official city emblem, while above it appears the white embroidered adidas logo. The city’s historic first seal in vivid red is printed on the back of the neck, adding a powerful archival touch to the design.
Each player’s shirt also includes a unique tribute: the names and map outlines of 18 districts of Gelsenkirchen are printed on the sleeves, such as Buer, Erle, Horst, Rotthausen, Bismarck, and Schalke-Nord. This feature celebrates the full breadth of the city and the community that unites behind the club.

The Adidas Aston Villa 26-27 third shirt features a light icy blue base covered in an elaborate, repeating swirl pattern across the front and sleeves. Claret detailing highlights the crew neck collar, sleeve cuffs, and signature Three Stripes, while both the centered Adidas logo and Aston Villa crest sit prominently on the chest. The version bought in store was sold without a main front sponsor.
FC Penafiel 26-27 Home Kit Released
Portuguese Liga 2 club FC Penafiel has officially launched its new home kit for the 26-27 season, produced by Nike. The release heralds a new kit deal for the club, leaning into a classic aesthetic that honors their traditional Rubro-Negro identity.
The Nike FC Penafiel 26-27 home jersey is predominantly red, styled with a contrasting black polo collar and open v-neck cut. Adding to the retro design, the club badge is set within a dark circular crest frame on the left chest, accompanied by a black Nike Swoosh and white Abanca sponsorship branding across the chest.

Nigeria Women Update Crest With 10 Stars
At the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), defending champions Nigeria featured a special detail on their shirts: 10 stars added above their crest. The "Super Falcons" had never worn stars on their kits in previous WAFCONs.
