French women's side Montpellier FC took to the pitch wearing unique, special-edition Adidas kits to raise awareness for mental health and neurodiversity during their Arkema Première Ligue fixture against OL Lyonnes. Using the club's 26-27 Adidas home and goalkeeper templates as a canvas, each shirt sported an individual custom illustration placed prominently on the front.

Created in partnership with the Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and Addictology department of the Montpellier University Hospital (CHU de Montpellier), the custom illustrations were produced by young patients during dedicated workshops. The hand-drawn graphics reflect personal experiences, struggles, and sources of resilience. Themes visible across the navy blue and lime green shirts highlight conditions like ADHD and dyslexia, touch upon body image issues, and feature uplifting personal motifs including a cat named Pelouche and the slogan "time moves you STRONGER."

Following their on-pitch debut, the match-worn collector jerseys are being sold through Montpellier FC's official store, with proceeds directed to support the hospital's specialized programs and patient care.

Liga MX side Santos Laguna paid homage to the traditional Mexican holiday Día de Muertos with a special commemorative kit font, worn on their 26-27 Charly home shirts during their league encounter against Club Necaxa.

Rather than launching a completely separate fourth kit, the club decorated their signature green-and-white hooped jerseys with bespoke typography on the back. Cruz Azul debuted a custom Día de Muertos kit font during their Liga MX Apertura 2026 fixture against León. Celebrating one of Mexico's most meaningful cultural traditions, La Máquina showcased the commemorative lettering on their navy 26-27 Pirma home shirts as well as the bright green goalkeeper jersey.

The typography introduces custom white digits shaped with vintage flourishes and adorned with delicate Día de Muertos symbolism. Each numeral features an understated skull watermark patterned across the base, highlighted by colorful calavera (sugar skull) illustrations, glowing candles, and flower petals. The official club crest is placed at the base of each number, paired with arched, clean white lettering for the player names.

The celebratory font proved to be a good charm on the pitch, with Cruz Azul securing a 2-1 victory over León to mathematically guarantee their spot in the Apertura 2026 Liguilla. While several Liga MX teams embrace Day of the Dead details each autumn, Cruz Azul's custom Pirma typography was prepared specifically as a one-off matchday feature.

Hong Kong Premier League club Supreme Shatin have teamed up with Toho's popular animated franchise Chibi Godzilla to release an eye-catching special-edition kit for the 26-27 campaign. Produced by technical sponsor Kelme, the limited shirt incorporates a playful Halloween theme into the team's matchday look.

The jersey is predominantly white and complemented by purple accents along the collar, sleeve cuffs, and shoulders, featuring Kelme's signature paw prints. Across the chest, the usual main sponsor is swapped for bold red "Chibi Godzilla Raids Again" text, set above a colorful parade of miniature kaiju characters from the series. The inner collar is stamped with official Godzilla and Toho licensing marks.

The festive theme continues on the back of the shirt, where a purple "Spooky Halloween" graphic sits directly above the player's name. Inside the bold black and purple squad numbers, Chibi Godzilla appears in full vampire attire, sporting a Dracula cape and cane to complete the unique crossover design.

Tanzanian giants Simba SC and Italian sportswear brand Diadora have officially unveiled the club's kits for the 26-27 CAF Champions League campaign. Following the launch of their primary domestic strips earlier in the year to mark the club's 90th anniversary, the Dar es Salaam outfit showcased three specialized uniforms ahead of their continental group stage fixtures.

The collection consists of a traditional red home shirt, an off-white away jersey, and a royal blue third option.
